New Zealand Baseball is an up and coming country with players in professional, college and high school baseball. New Zealand was about to participate in the 2020 World Baseball Classic then the pandemic hit. They have very good athletes and national team programs. New Zealand participates in the Australian Professional League and has a national coaching educational program. Part of that coaching program is an ISG Baseball Coaches Conference each year. A country with only about 8 thousand players at all levels and only been players baseball for 30 years is doing some great long term development.
