WBSC Head of Umpires and COPABE Technical Director talk with Coach Caliendo about Umpire/Manager/Player relationships, baseball development and more during their international meetings in Rome, Italy.

Coach Caliendo in Rome, Italy for the World Baseball Softball Confederations
(WBSC, governing body of the sports worldwide) Tournament Committee
meetings. Coach Caliendo has served on the committee over 18 years. During
the time in Rome he interviewed two of his close friends Gus Rodriguez WBSC
Head of Umpires and George Santiago COPABE Technical Director (Pete’s WBSC
committee members) Prior to his meetings coach Caliendo spent time in
Nettuno, Italy working with coaches and players.

We discussed many things like manager/umpire relationships, rules,
development of umpires and coaches, international baseball and so much more.
